Weekly
- An insulated van sells fresh fish, every Tuesday evening between ~17.10 and 17.30
in the 'Rose and Crown' pub Car Park. The owner buys the fish in Grimsby
and drives around local villages.
- The Harwell Caledonian
Society meets in the Village Hall every Tuesday 8pm-10pm --
Scottish Dancing with an emphasis on social dancing.
- Yoga class Thursday evenings starting on 12 May 2005 in Chilton

- Chilton Toddler Group meets in the Village Hall on Fridays
10 - 12noon. Children from birth to age 5 are welcome. Cost £1 per session,

Every other week
- The Oxford County South West Book Mobile visits the village at
Wednesday
lunch time every other week.
Any resident can get a ticket to use it, they are not the same as the
tickets to use the nearest Public Library in Didcot, tel: (01235) 813103 for
details of current timetable.
From 14th June 2006
The South West Mobile schedule calls at:
- 9.55 to 10.20 Harwell, Curie avenue, near the shops in the Kids Unlimited Car Park
- 10.20 to 10.35 The Green, usually parks at the bottom of Crafts End,
on the left going up the hill.
